Professor Mark McCaughrean, who gave the talk, tells us about how and why the European Space Agency made the short film Ambition, and the role science fiction plays in spreading the word about space exploration.
Astrophysicist Franziska Batten, who helped to organise the talk for Cardiff University, gives us some background about Rosetta, Philae and Comet 67P, and enthuses about the brilliant Rosetta and Philae Cartoons.
Ambition was directed by Tomek Bagiński and stars Aidan Gillen and Aisling Franciosi. You can watch it at ambitionfilm.com.
